At Piccolo Events, we believe that today’s conversations shape tomorrow’s world. Established in 2018 in the vibrant city of Chandigarh, Piccolo Events is a premium platform dedicated to organizing transformative Model United Nations (MUN) conferences for students and aspiring diplomats.
Founded by passionate visionaries J. Omm and Jivtesh S. Grover, Piccolo Events was born out of a shared mission to redefine the standards of youth engagement through world-class simulations of international diplomacy.

WHAT DO WE DO?
At Piccolo Events, we organize meticulously crafted MUN conferences across cities, institutions, and platforms. Our conferences simulate the working of real-world international organizations, including the United Nations, and provide students with the opportunity to role-play as diplomats, tackle pressing global issues, and negotiate constructive solutions.
We pride ourselves on authenticity, integrity, and intellectual challenge embedded in every event. Every Piccolo MUN is not just a conference – it’s an experience that encourages self-discovery, collaboration, and leadership development.

Our organization operates through four transformative verticals, each designed to nurture minds, inspire leadership, and create lasting impact:
Building Global Citizens
Preparing youth to think globally while acting locally through MUN Clubs, city-wide conferences, and international chapters, culminating in a Global Finale.
Leadership Development
Bridging academia and industry through Role Model Series, Born to Build initiatives, and experiential study tours that ignite future-ready leaders.
Promoting Literature
Fostering a culture of reading and curiosity through student-focused literature festivals and author series in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
Social Impact Projects
Driving grassroots change with initiatives in menstrual hygiene, women empowerment, climate action, and educational outreach across 150+ villages.

Piccolo Events is a dynamic public affairs initiative committed to fostering global unity through the ethos and values of Bharat. With a forward-looking approach, the platform aims to nurture future leaders by shaping their perspectives today — cultivating influence without seeking attention.
Operating under the guidance of its parent body, the Taking India Forward Foundation, Piccolo Events transforms its vision into action through a variety of impactful programs. These include Model United Nations conferences, leadership development series, curated study tours, and meaningful social impact projects. Each initiative is designed to educate, empower, and engage youth in a way that prepares them for responsible global citizenship while remaining rooted in Indian values.
Our Ideology & Impact
Piccolo Events is a pioneering initiative to create a space where young individuals could explore diplomacy, public speaking, critical thinking, and global affairs in an interactive and engaging format. Headquartered in Chandigarh, our organization was founded by two dynamic leaders, J. Omm and Jivtesh S. Grover, who brought together years of experience in the MUN circuit, education, and youth engagement.
